Remember Al’s legs from a couple days ago? Well, I decided I could do better (this may be why so many of my projects never reach completion . . .). I bought Pepakura Designer, the program used to create the templates (which is free unless you want to save or export files) and modified the leg pattern, creating something I liked better. It wasn’t nearly as tricky as I thought–I haven’t done any sort of virtual 3D modeling before, but it’s kind of like draping–just think of each vertex as a pin. Anyway, I came up with a version of the leg I like much better, and have cut and folded one of them. Here it is!
